The driving force behind my work is being an African American in society; where education on my culture is always put secondary in Americas history. My focus as an artist during this project was to bridge the gap between design and culture. This work is a civil rights Magazine designed for digital media and print media, with hopes to be easily assessable to everyone who desires to grow their knowledge on a portion of African American civil rights activist.
